Why? Why join this boycott? Because it helps others to
learn that myspace isnt all that safe. It might
be laughs and fun right now but until someone
gets raped and killed, youll see why we tried to
stop it.

this is ridiculous. how about boycotting parking
lots? people get raped in them, too.
people need to stop posting identifiable info and
just be responsible. boycotting myspace will not
prevent irresponsible people from getting into
trouble.
|
Its the user
I am not saying that myspace is a safe place there are no safe
places on the net now adays. but it is up to the user to make
sure they are smart with their decisions. if you tell someone that
you never have met stuf about u that they could track u with its
your own fault. it is not the fault of the company that someone
doesn't have enough smarts to keep personal info to
themselves. the problem today is that everyone wants things to
b perfect and you know what it never will be so live with it and
just be smart and watch out for yourself
|
im bored and so am i
dude, how stupid do you have to be to meet
someone online?
if you get raped by someone online, that's NOT
myspace's fault. you have a responsibility, just
as you do eating raw or undercooked eggs in a
resturant. leaving myspace isn't going to stop
internet rape. you'd have to remove yourself from
the internet completely.
specifically myspace rejection the way to go? i
don't think so.
|
Ridiculous
While this may be a decent idea, this is pretty
ludicrous. Frankly, the whole concept of "Myspace"
was pretty ingenous be whomever set it up. It is
the users of Myspace who have corupted it and have
damaged themselves in the process. I'm confident
that anyone who has even been raped or killed was
at fault in posting too much information.
|
Here's an analogy
Do you think having the ability to use something
like PGP to encrypt your email is bad because
terrorists use it as well? The good outways the
bad. I don't like myspace.com but the website is
a great idea, just because stalkers use it doesn't
mean it's bad. It just means that people need to
be more educated before using getting caught up
with something like that.
|
It's safe, if...
You use common sense.
Don't meet strangers. Don't give out personal
information. Don't be stupid.
You can't be raped or killed over the Internet.
|
Scare Tactics..
If a person gets raped over myspace, it's there
own fault. People put out too much information in
their profiles, or just plainly act like they
totally wouldn't if they knew the people in
person...this boycott..saying "Quit myspace, cause
the chances are.. YOU GON GET RAPED" is retarded.
BTW, this was written by a 15 year old teen.
|
I think you're a dumb bitch.
|
I think you're a dumb bitch.
|
I think you're a dumb bitch.
|
I think you're a dumb bitch.
|
Can we boycott walking down the street or living
in a big city? I think we should. It's not worth
losing your life over.
Actually, I'm not even pissed off that you're
boycotting MySpace. I'm pissed off at the terrible
design of this site that makes me want to go shove
my balls in the oven becaue it would feel better
than looking at this site.
|
How is this different...
From people meeting at a bar, going home with
them and then killing you? Or a molester going to
a school and kidnapping a kid or teen? Or a
yahoo chatroom with profile? Or a goecities or
AOL hometown webpage? Or a yahoo Groups page
where people meet every week for events? Or
ZABASEARCH.com where you can fine ANYONES info??
Simply put myspace is another website in the
crowd of thousands. Trying to single out myspace
is simply retarded. Sure bad things happen but
they happen all the time in anything we do that
is irresponsible. Is it myspace's fault when
grown people decide to meet psycos? It's parents
reposability for what their kids do on the web.
If it wasnt myspace well....they could learn HTML
and create their own web page. (AOLhometown and
GEOCITIES) Why dont you ban the whole internet
while you are at it? Because if it wasnt for the
internet this stuff would not happen at all. And
if you're stupid enough to put too much personal
info about you, then you are just that. STUPID!
Crazy people are out there believe it or not,
internet or no internet, myspace or no myspace.
This is my 2 cents worth. What do you think?

It's an instrument
To sum everything up...
- This "boycott" is meant to protest TEEN
CULTURE/SOCIETY AND ONLINE STUPIDITY more than
Myspace itself... which is fine; just say that. I
would happily join your cause.
- Myspace encompasses ALL KINDS of culture, not
just "emo/scene" and "skanks," or whatever.
- Myspace, like anything else, can be used for
BOTH GOOD AND BAD.
- Myspace CAN be dangerous, but only if you're stupid.
I keep in touch with many, many friends through
Myspace. I have no doubt that without it, I would
not maintain relationships with these people.
Seriously, I'm SO glad that Myspace exists.
You're angry because, in your view, society is
messed up (I happen to agree). Myspace is only
one form of society/culture, though... What else
are you doing to protest society? Do you boycott
TV? What about movies? Did you drop out of school
because other girls dressed like skanks? Do/did
you skip parties where there was underage drinking?
Just a few rhetorical questions.
Oh, and in my opinion, Myspace is NOT all about
the "emo/scene" kids-- it's about whoever you want
it to be about. In my case, it's just my friends.
But yes, there ARE stalkers/creeps/whatever out
there... but why would you give them personal
information?? I'm a little hypocritical on this
one... but I'm playing the odds. For 99.9% of
people on myspace, there is safety in anonymity...
I don't feel that I'm a very likely candidate to
be in the .1% of users that is targeted by creeps,
so I don't protect my information all that much.
Myspace only hurts the unwary. Just exercise a
little bit of caution and you'll be fine... don't
add strangers. I have met a few people on
Myspace, but they are friends of friends; I know
they're not posers.
|
IDIOTS
Don't boycott a social networking tool because
some people use it to commit crimes. That's like
boycotting a knife company because some people use
them for murder.
|
Truth be told:
The occasional bleak truth actually hurts. People
put themselves in comprimising situations.
So, to slander a website, because some "kids"
didn't have the proper parenting to combat these
types of situations, is kinda sad.
Not that i don't agree with your "movement" but in
the end the only thing people will learn is how to
delete thier myspace account. yay.....
Why not promote awareness. Give people the facts
about the given situation and maybe they'll act a
bit more responsible. Make people smarter. Not
judgemental.
-Zelleie-
|
Um rape happens just like murder and all sorts of other bad
stuff. Boycotting myspace wont make less rapists it just means
they will get the job done a different way. How different is it to
go on a date with some one you just met in real life do you know
them? How can you ever meet people in real life if you are
always afraid that the might just kill you? Be safe and stay on
myspace do what you want some people get raped myspace or
no myspace. Girls just carry a tazer or something!
|
YAY, let me put my real name, real address, real
phone #, aim name, email, blood type, birth mark
locations, mothers maiden name, sleep schedule,
key code to the garage online for everyone to
see.....
and then those types of people are shocked when
they get raped....
|
Such a good person
When someone is killed and raped, or raped and
killed, we'll be sorry because we didn't listen to
your webpage? Sure we all feel sorry for people
who get "pwned" but uh, Get some sense. Can we
boycott your stupidity?
-jeffrey

Silliness
What do I think? I think that you've taken a
position without facts to back it up. While it is
possible that people have suffered as a result of
Myspace, you must prove two things. One, you must
provide actual documented cases in which someone
has been murdered, raped, or kidnapped. Second,
you must prove that the incidences are beyond what
is normal. I've not seen evidence of either on
this site.
Now... granted, Myspace is, in many respects, a
thinly disguised personals site. Again, granted,
people are not using Myspace for what it was
(supposedly) intended for. And... as in all
popular websites, there are stalkers and creeps
willing to go beyond the bounds of decent
behavior.
Now... perhaps you'd be better served if you
attempted to educate the children on Myspace about
safe profiling, throwaway e-mail addresses, and
general common sense. Trying to scare them with
"OMG RAPE MURDER KASHI CEREAL" is not only
annoying... it is unethical.
Do I have Myspace? Yes. Am I an angsty emo / goth
/ skank child? Hardly. I use Myspace to learn a
bit about those people that I work with, for the
most part. If something personal gets posted, I
don't fret... after all, anyone wanting to stalk
me could find out where I live by simply WHOISing
my domain. Does that make me careless? Nah. It
just makes me non-anonymous.
|
Stupid
Hey ASHLEIGH, ERIN, ALISHA, JESSICA, and VICKY.
I can see that you are about 12 years old from
your superb typing/spelling skills. First off,
vicky you need to shoot your parents for naming
you vicky. Second the rest of you have attractive
names and if you want to be raped then please by
all means keep this website up long enough for us
to look up your info from the internet address
used to edit it. Thank you.
-The rapists for $200
PS. Vicky, you need not worry, you have an ugly
sounding name and that is a major turn off. You
can always watch if you like.
|
Misguided
Note: My Comment from Digg
It has nothing to do with MySpace. I know the
generation that comes after my own believes that
all this must be unique to their Internet
generation, but murders, stalkers, and rapists are
nothing new. For MILLENNIA people have been
raping and killing. MySpace is nothing more than
a virtual sheet of paper. The fact that a person
writes down their name, phone number, and address
on the paper they are given is a mental problem.
Do these girls honestly believe for one second
that if MySpace disappeared completely, that these
same people wouldn't find a different message
board, mailing list, or IRC channel with which to
share personal information? It's a sick
compulsion, pathologically naive, I have a friend
who suffers from the same compulsion. He can't
play a game (like a MMORPG) without fostering
personal connections with the people in the game.
Sharing out-of-character information with them
like his name, phone number, location, age, etc.
When I play a game, that's all it is to me, a
game. I have no desire to want to know the other
people beyond their characters.
Every time you post on the Internet, you should
ask yourself "Would I write this information down
on paper and sail it over a prison wall?" Even
people like Ted Bundy have access to everything
you write on-line. So if you wouldn't write it
down and give it to him, why would you write it in
public anywhere?
On top of that, for a boycott to be successful,
you need to have leverage. Usually in the form of
money. Saying you're boycotting MySpace is like
boycotting a free lemonade stand. Why does the
guy running the stand give a damn whether or not
you refuse to drink his lemonade for free?
|
Listen, if you want to stop these crimes, then how
about educating people on what they should and
should not put on their page? Myspace isn't the
problem here. It's the uneducated person's fault.
These type of pedophiles will get what they want
regardless of whether they find it from Myspace or
some other site. I personally use Myspace to keep
in touch with friends that no longer live near me.
I also use it to keep in touch with those friends
that are overseas serving our country. Boycotting
Myspace won't solve anything.
|
Ok, here's my 2 cents
Well, here's my 2 cents:
At first, I hated myspace, along with xangas, AIM,
and blogs in general. I hated them because they
were cheesy, useless, and overall overrated and
way too popular. I have all 3 though, but I never
use xanga anymore, haven't touched it in over a
year. AIM, I only use when I have hardheaded
friends who absolutely REFUSE to switch to another
IM client (because they're idiots)
Myspace has actually proven itself useful to
people like me who can't always afford domain
names. I have an amateur film-making company where
I make little short films. I can't afford a domain
name, so what I did was I got a myspace filmmaker
account and put my videos on there using Youtube.
What a lot of people don't realize is that Myspace
isn't the typical stereotype of a blogger /
teenage / dating / whatever community. That's what
my first impression was, but it's actually quite
unique. I have my own personal myspace, but I
don't put information that I don't feel
comfortable revealing onto it. If someone's stupid
enough to put their personal information onto a
public site, then that's not the website's fault.
I like myspace, it provides a nice layout, and a
nice way to advertise your things, and an
uncomplicated linking URL with which to link
people. Since it's free, why not? Personally I
mainly only use my personal myspace so that me and
my close friends can just chill and do whatever on
them. I realize that there's a thing called
'e-mail' and 'instant messenger', but a page
dedicated to yourself and your friends is kinda cool.
Overall, if you don't like myspace, ok, don't have
anything to do with it. If you like it, go for it!
If you like it and you're stupid enough to reveal
personal information and get raped, well then
that's your fault for being an idiot.
Websites don't rape people, rapists who look at
idiots' websites do.

IMMA RAPE YOU

Children on MySpace
Kids should just plain NOT be allowed. It's
ridiculous. There are 13 and 14 year old girls
posing in bikinis (or less), who are naive enough
to BELIEVE anything they read in email.
MySpace is not a SAFE place for kids whatsoever.
However Myspace is a GREAT place for me and other
grown-ups to play grown up games, hook up for
shows, make friends, meet f0ck buddies, or whatever.
I would never boycott MySpace. BUT if Tom has any
sense (and I think he does) he will make it an
adults only community, quick-like. He has so many
members now, he would be a fool to continue using
chidren to build it.
There is literally no difference between letting
kids play on MySpace and serving them alcohol.
Take this from an ex-teenaged girl. Positive
attention from men/boys is just as intoxicating as
are booze and drugs. It does affect your
judgement, lower your IQ, and eliminate inhibitions.
That being said, if you are an adult woman meeting
a stranger from MySpace (or anywhere on the
internet) for the first time in a private setting,
survival of the fittest dictates your demise.
Sorry. Stupidity can get you killed. No matter
how old you are.
If you must meet a stranger from the internet, you
must follow at least two simple rules. First,
public meetings ONLY the first 4 or 5 times. It
may not keep you perfectly safe but it will
certainly give you a better idea of who the person
really is.
Secondly, FOLLOW your gut. If a guy creeps you
out ONCE, even with a message or comment, ditch
him. Don't even give him the chance to explain.
Those creepy feelings you get in the pit of your
stomach are instinctual and they happen for your
protection.
|
myspace protects kids
If myspace didn't allow kids, what would they
do? they'd lie and say they were 18 or older.
That causes much worse problems!!
Myspace is working with law enforcement
wiredsafety.org, parry aftab and a bunch of
other safety programs. if kids don't hang out @
myspace, they'd go somewhere that didn't protect
kids.
kids lie and put themselves in danger
everyday/everywhere. parents need to protect
them.
banning myspace will just cauuse worse problems.
your naive thinking will get the internet
banned -- not save people.
|
teach not boycott
instead of trying to boycott the only place that
really cares about kids online, you should
devote your energy to teaching kids and parents
about how to protect themselves.<br>
check out the safety tips at myspace. read
others online. talk to kids and parents.
<br>your naivity will only lead to worse
problems. educate yourself and others before you
attack!
|
IDIOTS.
Boycotting MySpace will do nothing.
Do you understand how many profile sites there
are on the web?
Thousands.
Trust me, if you want to boycott MySpace, just
get off my internets and die plzthxbye.
|
fuck myspace
Myspace is a big joke. Vanity is the biggest q
uality going around myspace, especially when g
irls who arent even half way decent looking h
ave guys telling them they are hot. It's a j
oke. People actually used to be real decent u
ntil myspace came around. Now everyone seems to b
e selfish and only about themselves. Shit on T
om, and his website.
|
myspace is SAFE
myspace is safe! I have one myself and you can
avoid online predators. What I do is I never post
how old I am or where I live. I don't give out my
email or anything. The people who got raped are
stupid because they gave out information so that
the predator could come to their house. If you are
careful you can avoid danger. I say I am 100 years
old and that i live on pluto so no way could I be
in danger. That's what everybody should do..
|
reasons for myspace
Myspace should not be boycotted. thats just plain
stupid!! I only talk to people I know and if
theres somebody I dont know who wants to be my
friend I just ignore them and get on with my
life!! I moved away from old friends and I talk to
them ONLY through myspace. For you idiots that
want to boycott it, you need to get a life. I bet
most of you have never ever been on Myspace and
know what you can do. You just say that because
the news talks about it 24/7 and they always look
at Myspace negatively. Those problems occured
because the kids were stupid and talked to people
they didnt know and told them their address and
phone number. You can even block people if you
wish to..
|
Rockon
You're awesome. DOWN WITH MYSPACE.
|
DeleteYourMySpace.org
I will be starting a new web site:
DeleteYourMySpace.org. It will be a non-profit
organization dedicated to getting kids OFF of
MySpace, and ON with their lives!
|
Boycott it anyway...
99.9999999999% of myspace consists of a buncha
posers who wanna get laid and look so cool, either
by looking emo and sad and like "omfg i wanna die"
and cutting themselves, or by showing themselves
in "cool" poses or half naked poses. It makes me
sick how much poserdom there is on myspace.
|
You are ass backwards
This is like when people freaked out with the
invention of the video camera. It's the age of
communication, and this is the most innovative
way to connect the world. Some people used the
video camera to create documentaries, and
capture the news, and some used it for
pornography. There will always be good vs.
evil.
ALSO. I'm hearing you complain more about
the 'half naked girls' than anything else. Does
someone sound jealous. I dont' add or
communicate with strangers, I've had thousands
of people message me, and i delete all. This is
how I stay in touch with my freinds, post
comments and have fun. The best part is the
bulletins, while I'm at work my freinds post the
funniest, most interesting and random comments.
I dont even use my email anymore.
And you morons need to realize that anyone can
create a website, before myspace was created I
was one of the first people in college to have a
personal website....
you can't stop technology, so get your head out
of your ass.
|
Wrong reasons
I think you're listing the wrong reasons to avoid
Myspace, and perhaps giving people who do a false
sense of security.
Giving too much personal information out on public
websites is dangerous. Meeting people you talk to
on the Internet is potentially dangerous.
Believing everything people tell you is dangerous.
These things were commonplace before Myspace; the
same problems existed ten years ago. The same
problems will exist when Myspace is replaced by
something that sucks less.
Don't post addresses, phone numbers, names of
places you hang out, the name of your school or
pictures that give away where you live, work or go
to school. If you're going to meet someone in
person, bring friends and do it in a public place.
Don't assume people are who they say they are.
That said, you SHOULD get off Myspace because it's
poorly designed and inhabited by a bunch of morons.
|
Please read whole thing
Please read whole thing and try to understand:)
look if you want people to boycott myspace then
you should want them to boycott the internet all
together and seeing that you obviously haven't
stopped using the internet makes u a hypocrite.
You can't stop people from preying on other
people. if you want to do something to stop
people from raping little kids, then start a
program to make parents/guardians more vigilent
(sp?) to their childrens actions and
whereabouts. I respect what you are trying to do
but u are being way too radical. your putting
too much energy into the wrong action, you
should put it towards something that will
actually reduce sexual solicitation etc. The
safety of a child/ or even some adults isn't the
fault of the internet(though i am sure it
doesn't help in most cases) i am sorry to say
dear, that even if you shut myspace down, you
won't stop rapes, violence, etc. All those
things can happen anywhere. And i will agree
myspace at times can be very annoying with
stupid people, but for the people (like myself)
who use it to keep in touch with family and
friends shouldn't be punished for people you
guys are annoyed at the "poser" types and
paranoid about the "raper" types. Please, try to
understand, broaden your way of thinking and
focus your idea somewhere that it will do some
good. With much respect, Heather
and please if you would like to send me hate
mail, send it to my myspace (not to be an
asshole)
http://www.myspace.com/yunaclone
|
Myspace is not bad some girls are just Fuckin retarted, and some guys are Fucking sick
Myspace isn't a bad place so stop ragging on it.
its an awesome way to keep in touch with people
you havn't talked to in a while or met at a party
or somthing. But, if your a dumb girl who wants a
boyfriend so they put sick ass pics of themselves
thinking that guys like that. your just degrading
yourself! Its unfair to say myspace is a place
for rape cuz honestly what kinda dumbass would go
and meet a guy you didn't even know by yourself!
your just asking to be raped you should know
better! and meeting people on myspace isn't cool!
get a real life, and a personality and go out and
meet people the same way your parents met! the
old way of actually meeting a person instead of
meeting someone online who lives in a different
state!

You're an idiot if you give your actual address
and stuff on myspace.
I always make it up.
Ridiculous.
It's peoples own fault. They should be more
careful. This site is equally as ridiculous as
the people who put there actual address' etc on
myspace and other sites.
|
Myspace is dumb!
It's hard for me to believe that people of the
older generation use this place like their teen
children do. How about calling up your friend to
say hello or going out with them, instead of
posting some stupid comment with a stupid picture
on their "site".
Majority of those sites you can't even read
anything on them. Who really cares that you kiss
like a fish and that if you were a car you would
be a corvette?? No one cares! Maybe for the
teen generation but for people in their late 20s,
30s and even 40s..how about getting a life?
My friends want me to get one but I refuse. I
like to TALK to people in person, call me
strange! LOL I think it's these older people
trying to be hip and young again...ohhhh ohhh do
I smell a mid life crisis??? LOL
Bottom line...myspace sucks! :-)
|
Thank God
I thank God for the boycott u guys started...i
support you guys 100%
MYSPACE should be banned by law
but if that doesnt work
we will hafta stop it ourselves
GREAT JOB
MYSPACE SUCKS! i was a user till my friend got
killed! all cuz of this stupid mysapce thing
her profile was set to PRIVATE...but it didnt
matter
DELETE UR MYSPACE
|
Just what the hell is wrong with old people
brains?
YEAH lets ban myspace!!!
so what will you acomplsih?
they'll jsut go to another profile websites.
you guys cant stop all the bad ppl that go on the
internet.
it was a nice try.
but it didnt get to nothing.
myspace is still on from what i can see.
Heres a nice idea. Boycott the entire internet.
that'll stop it.
right... you cant do that. sorry :)
|
keep myspace
Something I really hate is this. Why can't
girls get half a brain and stop being so stupid
when it comes to myspace. If your 17 stop
saying your older and blaiming myspace for
getting your dumb ass raped. I'm sorry if this
has happened to you. But well duh is it
myspace's fault that you decided to go meet with
these guys? Shouldn't you know better? Is it
their fault you lied on your profile? NO and
NO. So stop trying to do a boycott for ending
myspace. Just grow up!!! Myspace should then
have something where if your too immature to
tell everybody your own age then your parents
should have to aprove of your profile or
something. Or at least block older men from
talking to you without the "children" having the
right to change it. KEEP MYSPACE
|
WAH WAH
OK, YOU KNOW...YOUR FRIEND WHO GOT KILLED..VERY
SORRY. BUT HE /SHE GOT KILLED BY GIVING OUT TOO
MUCH INFO. SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU CRAZY PEOPLE.
GET A LIFE AND STOP BEING A TOTAL NERD...CRY
BABY'S WHO ARE AGAINST FUN....FUCK U...JUST FOR
PEOPLE LIKE U, I WOULD LOVE TO CREATE A SITE
LIKE MYSPACE SO IT WILL NEVER BE GONE...HA HA
HA
|
Most people haven't relized it yet but myspace
was created it a hook up website.Im pretty sure
that somewhere out the in the world other people
have been killed or rape or what ever... but why
do people bring so much attention o thei
perticular website. i think that if your going
to protest against myspace then you should
protest other hook up websites...
|
well, I am sorry that your friend died but
blaming it on myspace? now thats kind of
pathetic. just because it was through myspace
doesnt mean you have to blame myspace. she gave
too much info on her profile...and if she was on
any other website the same thing would have
happened.
|
"add [[myspace rejection]] to your profile to
show YOU care and make a difference. Spread it
on to your friends as well."
Isn't is a bit hipocritical to urge people to
reject myspace and yet encourage them to 'spread
the word' by the use of myspace or similar
websites?
|
i think its way 2 stupid
i think myspace its dumb ur saying ur life is not
worth. so let sum1 have it! i think kids think its
so cool i think its wrong so plz spread the luv yall!
|
Just so you know...
I do have a Myspace, but only because that is
the only way I have to contact some people (that
I already knew, so no worries there). I have no
information about where I live or what schools I
go to, or any pictures of myself. If only we
could make people more cautious and safe. But,
we can't. But that's not why I'm here. I'm here
to tell you that when you say 'Myspace Rejection
Boycott' it litterally means to boycott a
Myspace rejection (meaning, you think we should
all have Myspaces). To sound better you should
either say 'Myspace Boycott,' or 'Myspace
Rejection.' Not both at once.

My space has ruined our kids
I had to withdraw my 15 year-old daughter from the
school that she has been attending for the past
ten years due to myspace. I had to relocate her.
This has been the most devistating time of our
lives. After removing her from this area, there
were threatening messages on her myspace. Myspace
doesnt make it easy to delete your account. The
people who started myspace should be held
accountable and instead they are billionaires...
Our kids aren't safe.

ridiculous
the only reason for this is because of its
popularity!!! Whether its myspace or anywhere
else the risks are there. Popularity makes it a
target.
Fact is you can get raped tomorrow going
somewhere if your not careful. What people do on
the internet is there business. Young teenagers
girls posting provocative pics of them on
myspace isnt the websites fault. Although they
should moniter better content. Young people who
put up those pics weren't like that because of
myspace. They were like that before and probably
will be like that if there were no myspace.
Myspace is a site where people go, a place. Like
anywhere a club, bar, movies anywhere you act
accordingly and have control what you do. Online
you have even more control because no one can
physically harm you. You dont have to meet
anyone and you dont have to talk to anyone.
Accountablity needs to lie with who is
responsible. Myspace is not responsible for
people's actions. So dont put blame on myspace
when the blame lies with those people who are at
fault!

DO NOT BE DUMB
If you are on myspace u should only be friends on
it witht he people u know and if u do get raped
its ur own fault for ur own stupidity

How Pathetic
Just another case of "blame someone else" society.
Blame the perpetrator. Blame the girl who was
stupid enough to meet someone like that online.
Blame the parents for not raising their daughter
with more common sense. Myspace only ever created
a place for genuine people to meet other genuine
people, and like any huge system, theres gonna be
bad apples. Thats life. But to blame Myspace?
Thats just idiotic. They never suggested to this
man that he should abuse the system in this way,
and they never advised underage girls to meet
perfect strangers theyve only ever talked to
online. And who knows... i wonder if anyone's met
a dangerous fellow through this very campaign of
yours. But that wouldnt be your fault, would it?
